Travis almost had that flag in his heat race....
...then he got shoved down during a yellow...onto the new 'bumps' - which moved the throttle cable and tore up the underbelly of the car AND he lost his brakes
but he still finished 5th and then finished 6th in a very evil car - because we missed some of the damage when we had to thrash on the brakes and throttle....
it's coming....

couldn't in this case....had to do with missing the kid that spun....
but he didn't let anyone shove him around in the A-main...even with that evil car he was driving.....i think i missed saying that he was also dealing with a bee sting to his hand - which may not sound like much until you know that wasps and yellow jackets could be deadly to him....this one, fortunately, whatever kind it was, only gave him a local reaction - though after the race he laid down - we aren't sure if it was dehydration, bee sting, or a combo of both.....

Sounds like a good drive. Keep it up kid. Like the pros say....Put yourself in a position to win and the wins will come.
Riffle strips? Who's idea was that? Geesh. Especially if they're tall enough to trash an underbelly, which means they are also tall enough to maybe bend a frame, rip the rear axle or gear out, or flip one of the cars? Are they? And do you think there is a possibillityof these things happening?
If so, it's time to raise hell and demand they be ground down.
If not, all your drivers should learn that if they can't get to the outside, to spin the car out and hope for the best. Way too much danger/damage coming to do anything else?

well, normally they are lower...and as the day wore on....they GOT lower....did bend one kid's front axle..
as for the spinning out, QMA, in their 'infinite wisdom' changed a rule - if you spin out subsequent to another driver's spin the can call a DOT (dead on track) on that second driver - 3 calls and you are out of the race.....
sometimes you are damned if you do and damned if you don't...
