Time and time again it has been brought to the attention of less than aware race fans of the FACT that Kyle Busch still hasn't won a legitimate series title. It must be very humbling that someone that acts as classless, immature, and punky as Logano was able to beat him out ! Too bad NASTY NASKY regulated the Chevrolet product out of contention this year otherwise one of the cream of the crop drivers would have easily secured yet another title. The FACT that an owner that cut his teeth in the open wheel venue was able to come into the taxi cab type cars world and win championships just proves just how much the core of an irrelevant NASCAR series has rotted. Back in the day when the famous Wood brothers went to Indianapolis to race they showed the other competitors a thing or two about how to make blistering pit stops. Now it is open wheel guys like Penske and Gnaus that are taking the cabby boys to task. Funny how the worm has turned.

And of course it's 100% my fault. Back when I used to come to my own message board, I was a Dale Earnhardt Jr. fan. Since he retired (with 0 Cup championships of course lol), I switched over to Kyle Busch. I realize on the surface, that would seem like a massive bandwagon move; understandably so. However, I do have a very personal reason of why I switched over to Rowdy when Jr. retired. I will explain that another time as I'm just getting back to this forum, changing a couple things, and definitely have A LOT of catching up to do. Thank you to you all who have posted over the years while I was away. Gonna see what we can do with this forum now since at this point, it's been around a while. Kinda funny to have a message board going for about a decade with absolutely nobody in charge. haha

Terry & Bobby Labonte were my favorites before Earnhardt Jr. These days I'm not sure who I'm partial to. Given the dirt racing background of the Larson kid he might be a worthy successor of our preference. Myself, and those who lurk here will be interested in how a fan goes from being an Earnhardt Jr. fan to being a Kyle Busch fan given the background of the relationship of those two when they raced each other.

Glad you are back !! We kept the fire burning for you ! I read somewhere that Jr. is going to race this year at The Darlington speedway. I hope he does well at the lady in black. Hopefully by then the Chevrolet teams will be able to sort out the problems they are having with this new package.

What causes guys like the Busch bros. to act and talk the way they do is, and probably always will be, a mystery. When Kyle Busch is in that "zone" he's undeniably fun to watch but it all goes down the drain when he goes off the deep end from time to time. It really is surprising that Kyle Busch hasn't won more Cup championships than he has. He has both the ride and the talent but he just seems to come up short when the chips are down and the glory is on the line. As recurve said, the one championship that he has to his credit is undeniably tainted and if he never pulls off winning another one his legacy will forever be suspect.

I thought it unusual that Kyle didn't dump Kurt to win the Kentucky race. I suppose they had orders from their family not to wreck each other ?
