I have a two piece fire suit that I am trying to sell. It is a g-force single layer. It is Black with white stripes. I am 6' 220 pounds and fits me good. I have used it for 3 seasons, so it is used. 50.00

To be very honest, I would not sell it to anyone. Too much liability at hand. Keep it as rememberance, trash it or whatever. But do not sell it or gift it.
If there would be a problem sometime, be prepared to show proof of how you cared for it 100% within the mfg'rs requirements and so forth.
Not trying to be sarcastic, but consider what I am saying. I tell the same to those who are looking to buy/sell any safety related equipment.

I was trying to help out some of the locals that don't have a lot of money. In the lower clases it is not manditory to were a suit. It scares me to see some of these guys in sweat shirts and no gloves. I figured a old fire suit is better than no fire suit. I saw to many fires this year. Luckaly noone was hurt.

That's very , very cool of you Jeremy!!! I find it hard to believe any track would let any driver in any class go on the track without a drivers suit!!!

I'll admit, when I first started I didn't like wearing Gloves but, I did learn to wear them. The neck braces were a little before my time!! at the local tracks/

i must be old.....
coveralls soaked in 20 mule team borax was the answer in my day....and gloves only came into play in the spring and fall when temps ran around 35 on race nights.
but that old 57 merc sure liked the cold air going into that 352 police interceptor.....

At 1 local track in the 4 cylinder division a fire suit is Recommended as a re gloves and racing shoes. I will not get in a car without full gear on. Even to pack the track.

I don't use racing shoes. but one race I was regreting that. The firewall in my race car was so hot it was burning the bottom of my feet. It turned out that my exhast manifold donut poped out and was blowing the exhast at the firewall.
