Saturday was the last points night at Devils Bowl. This was a "different" kind of season for us. The first night out back in March the motor dropped a valve and tore some things up, so right off the get-go we end up missing the first two weeks of racing. Once we got going we started winning our heats and a couple of trophy dashes. Then in June the bracket on top of the rearend that holds the torque arm broke, it took out the driveshaft, yoke and so forth. Another night with only showup points. Those who know me, know that these are very, very rare things that happen to my car(s). I pride myself in having excellent equipment and keeping maintained at all times.
Going into Saturday we had gotten back up to 2nd in points, but only by 25 points. And we were the only car in the top 10 without a feature win this year, so it was not looking all that great. Well we won the feature and locked in 2nd in points.
Now its time to take a break and think about what we are going to do next year. But this one ended on a good note.

Congrats Dirt, Excellent considering the misfortunes. When I was racing a lot of folks said my wins were won in the garage. I took that as a compliment.

Doing your home work ( garage) makes for good results. Sounds like a great end to a good season. Good luck next season.
