well hey out there in cyber-space...new here...I like the old beach racing picture on the home page with the old Chrysler 300's out front...not a Chrysler fan though so don't take me wrong on the 1st day...I prefer the bow-tie's myself although some of the blue ovals boys are favorites as well...like any of the drivers in Nascar that will mash the gas pedal and drive the wheels off one...no cry-babys or complainers...my all time favorite though is no longer around...lost his life at Daytona in a last lap crash...none have come close to his style as of yet although a few of them today are getting close to it...I love all types of stock car racing except restrictor plate...from the local Saturday night short tracks to the super-speedways and have driven on the dirt bullrings against the Ledgend himself old Ironhead when i was a lot younger...hope we have a little fun here and poke fun at one another about our favorite drivers in the future...so i'll be seeing you around...  ... |

Hey, that sounds good. Sounds like you'll fit in quite well here. Feel free to bring some friends to the forum too. We normally do have some fun here, I like to think it's a pretty good place to talk about racing-NASCAR and local short tracks. Again, welcome! |

Wow! A new member that actually gets involved! Welcome to the board Samari!! Jump right in. I'm with ya on the Dale Sr deal, Don't really have a favorite now! Jr is who I root for the most but basically just have some that I don't want to see win. I like most of them though! More of a Saturday night Dirt fan myself!!
Dirt's for racing, Asphalt's for getting there!! ( Sorry Dale) LOL

wish I could figure out how to upload my av....?...can someone help with that...? Yes. The forum offers a few "stock" avatars, like cartoon character type things. But if you have your own that you want as your avatar, as long as it's in .jpg or another common photo format-go to tinypic.com. You can upload it there. Then copy the URL of that picture, and here on the forum go into modify your profile. A little ways down the screen you will see an "Avatar URL" box, paste the URL to your picture (avatar) there. The largest pixel size it will let you use is 100X100, which you can adjust. Then save the changes on your profile and you're all set. But if you get into a snag with that at all, you're welcomed to just email me the pic and I can get it set up for you. |

yea i see ya...aint got your av up either huh...i tried the cht room and can't get in there either...what ya want to do for the race...start a thread i guess and see what we can stir up...?

Yes I do see the chat room is showing you have to sign in with a password. Haven't used it in a long time and it wasn't like that; I will look into it.
I don't know why uploading a photo to tinypic and putting the url on your profile wouldn't work. But if you wanted to email me your pic I could put it on your profile. If you did, my email is at the bottom of my post...

If you did, my email is at the bottom of my post... thanks dale...we'll hold off on the av thing for now...no biggie...the chat room thing was where I thought you could go and talk about the weekly races in nascar with others on your forum here...i take part in other forums that are like that but with Kyle kicking butt so bad in both series right now, people dont seem to want to much...although he is not my favorite either i got to say the kid is tough and it appears that Joe has got him in some good equipement and they are doing well...thanks for allowing me to write on your forum and things will come together i'm sure...just a newbie here and have to figure things out just like the others...thanks for the help and i may get you to do the av later if'n i can't get it to work but for now the little devil is ok... |
