This happened over the weekend here in the DFW area. It is a track that we do not race at. And from what I understand, the owner/promoter did nothing. So we most likely will never go there if he is more or less saying these things are okay. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRTLk1tKS4c |

That's insane.
I do believe that's the dumbest stunt i've ever seen.
It's bad enough he caused the wreck--but then to just drive over that car is crazy!

Absolutely unacceptable! And they did nothing? Wow. I can understand not wanting to race there! A little favoritism going on? I may have posted this before but, this ranks right up there with that. I don't know how you guys would handle or did ever handle something like this. We have one at Devils Bowl who is getting bad about hitting cars. I have taken a stand that I will file civil as well as maybe criminal charges if it was to happen to one our cars.
These are young punks who have NO respect for anyone or anything. And yes, the parents need their azz kicked for allowing this even get close to happening.

it looked like he had some damage after getting hit comming off turn 4... he was slow comming down the frontstretch and trying to hold it low on the track but once he got to turn 1, he was tagged and spun into the car that then spun and stopped...
I wonder if the throttle stuck or he didn't have brakes....once he was on top of the car there weren't many options....
looks like the cars were the only thing that got hurt..?

An Update - the driver has been suspended for entire 2010 season.
My opinion, GOOD. Now should other tracks do the same to the guy? I have talked to a guy that races with us at the Bowl and we are thinking that if he shows up and is allowed to race, we need to load up immediately.

I agree Dirt. At least with the banned for a year from that track deal. Don't know if I would leave my home track because he came there.
My observation of the mess was him getting hit in 4 looked like it was just a racing deal,
The other guy looked like he was trying to get off from him.
Then It looked to me like he intentionally was going slow on the inside till the guy passed him. It sure looks like he turned rt into him. Then had to hit the gas to be able to hit him again after he was stopped and even harder to climb up on him. Then smoked the tires getting off!! Of course I don't know past history of this duo but, no matter what, I say he lost his temper way to much!!

Dirtdevil, ya might be better off if he does show up to just not hit the track in order to bring it to the officials attention, they might not know him.
