I guess I have to ask, whatn hell is a track doing with a fuelSHACK? Where is the EPA? Why no above ground tanks?

because PA has stupid-assed laws about racing....
....they don't even require an ambulance to be ongrounds during a race (though most intelligent tracks have them)....
...when we went qm racing in Doylestown it took THIRTY FIVE MINUTES for the ambulance to come when one of the cars rolled and flew about 12 feet in the air (fortunately, the kid was just fine...but sooooooooooooooo not the point)....
eta: I'm guessing this, but I know Wall has a 'shack' near the tanks for the guys to pay.....so I'll presume that's what they mean.....
last report from the track is that they think static electricity set it off.....but no one knows for sure....

Must be a lot of ticket stubs to make it burn like that.

seems Kenny Brightbill is the big 'hero' of the day (he's a big name in the northeast)
from the racing board....
Got a text message from Jeff Sheeler, who's at the track. Here's what he texted me... "So the fuel shed at Big Diamond caught fire and none other than Kenny Brightbill pulled the fuel truck out of the shed while the shed was on fire so the truck wouldn't ignite. Still Mr. Excitement!
