At least thats how I feel....99 degrees yesterday standing over 300 degree asphalt out in the middle of the airport with no shade.....
hope today is not as bad....

G mornin Peeps, I'm up so I don't want no gol dang yellin from the Duffer. Only gonna be around 88 today, good day for a long nap! Better make a Wally World run though and get som miricle grow for maters. I gots to find some nitro. Ya'll have a good one.

Mid 90's again today.......After staying off my feet for a couple days, my back and elbows actually hurt more than my knees do. Off to the doc later, and then to the store(s).

Morning gang, 68 suns out in force and going for 100 today. I'll get my walk in early for sure.
Critter, I doubt the Duffer will be up for a bit as Sox/Rockies game wasn't over 'till about 1AM your time.

I'm here ! been up all of an hour or so now. Moving in slow motion yet ~ Trip to park done wore me out last night. Hope the lil gurl slept as good as I did.
better wander around and find some nitro, I gotta make a Wally trip today too.

Hope you had some breeze anyway out there. That is the part I don't miss from work at all . In Fargo they are running stings to slow people down in the construction areas. Yesterday 87 tickets at minimum of $80. Had another one today but no tally yet. |

Back from the doc.....more X-rays....got some meds....now I just got to keep from going crazy on them....starting to kick in....Got a work buddy stopping by later today to check the wood pile and other stuff in exchange for him and his teenage boys helping to load the truck or trailer when we get to that point.....Roxie said she talked to God about it and that we ARE going to get that spot.
Meanwhile.....
Ray.....that there road work has got to be killer. I've done metal roofs out here in the 115's, and other roof work that always seems to happen in the summer...lot's of beer (but not for me) the night before to make sure ya got something to sweat out, and plenty of water during the day. I always froze small water bottles that would fit in my back pocket or tool pouch to take to work out here in the desert. Try a cardboard hoop around your hardhat, or a white neck protector that you can keep wet with cold water. I've got white ballcap with an old t-shirt scrap sewn on the back of it. One good thing is that you got work. Lot's of folks don't, and Congress didn't get the unemployment extension up and running..... AGAIN...... 1.9 million folks will lose their benefits by the 4th of July. Count your blessings.
Chrissy.....I don't do long goodbyes either. I say goodbye to a few close friends, head for the exit, and give em a loud seeya later and big ol wave, and I'm gone.
and btw......I got maters....picked a couple smaller red ones this morning....

Quit your whining Ray! I work around a boiler that runs 1300 degrees and boiler house is about 100 something now! Toughen up! Did'nt have time to yell at ya Crit.But at 4AM you probably did'nt want me too!
