Anybody have any pics of strange Race cars? Here's one of a Super Modified that had 3 tires on the right and one on the left! Tim Richmond actually tested this car quite a bit. Lot of interesting stories surrounding it!!

6 Wheeled F1 car. This is the Tyrrell P34 that raced for a short while in Formula 1 in the 70's. I once built a model of this car that had working suspension and steering. A brief history en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrrell_P34

I always had a heck of a time just getting the wheels so they would turn with my club hands. Bet a lot of glue was put on with a toothpic!

Jim Hall's Chaparral Can-Am fan car. It used fans to suck air out from under the car. Followed 8 years later by Brabham's Formula 1 fan car

That drag racing picture above was actually a land speed record car that a guy built, he was testing it there. Later was killed in the car, haven't got his name at the moment. Saw a similar pic at the WDIFL site

Hahh! They don't run them here Pete, would be fun to watch though. They remind me of the bumper cars they had when I was a kid.
